By creating an account or using CodeFence ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid accounts.
CodeFence is a developer security platform that scans your code repositories for secrets, vulnerabilities, IaC misconfigurations, and container issues. We provide findings, alerts, compliance reports, and auto-remediation pull requests.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of your code and data. By connecting your repositories, you grant CodeFence a limited license to access and scan your code solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not store your source code — only scan findings and metadata.
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or service interruptions.
CodeFence provides security findings as informational guidance. We do not guarantee that our scans will detect every vulnerability or that acting on our findings will prevent all security incidents. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeFence is not liable for any damages arising from your use of or reliance on the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
